Captain Dennis Palmer

Dennis did his first solo sail at the age of five in a Penguin dinghy on Lake Washington, and has been sailing ever since. Dennis and his family have cruised extensively in Puget Sound, the San Juan Islands, and the Gulf Islands. He is an active racer, and crews on some of the larger boats on Puget Sound in local races and longer races such as Swiftsure. Dennis has been a sailing instructor since 1989 and enjoys passing on his love of sailing to students. He holds a USCG 50 Ton Master’s license and is certified by the American Sailing Association to teach Basic Keelboat, Coastal Cruising, and Bareboat Charter classes. Dennis is by far the most handsome instructor at the Seattle Sailing Club, so all of the pretty women will want to request him as their instructor.
