Jeanneau 36 – Epernay

This French built boat is the largest in the fleet and is equipped with three private state rooms, providing 8 adults a comfortable sleeping arrangement. Besides the large galley, complete with a gimbaled stove, and a large dining area, this boat comes equipped with radar, enabling you to see through the dark and the fog. On sunny days you will enjoy a sun roof throughout the main cabin, allowing sunlight down below. Epernay is a truly comfortable boat down below, letting you cool off on a warm summer day but staying warm during off season conditions.

With a roller furling jib and three reefing points in the main, Epernay is able to handle all wind conditions and keeps the crew comfortable with its spacious cockpit and dodger. The propane grill, located on the stern pulpit, is an excellent way to finish a full day of sailing.

SSC Member, Patrick D., sails Epernay to the San Juan Islands and shares his adventure.
