Ramona learned to sail at summer camp on the Hood Canal. She started teaching at age eighteen and has since taught classes of children and adults, on dinghys and in keelboats, and loves to share her boundless enthusiasm for sailing with all of her students. She enjoys leading both racing teams and cruising expeditions. Her current goal in life is to get more women into sailing, and she has a great time directing the women’s program at the SSC. Ramona is an avid racer and can be found racing around the Puget Sound all year long.
