Scott Galbraith
Scott started sailing dinghies in northern Idaho when he was thirteen and has since sailed all over the U.S. doing a variety of coastal deliveries and inland beer can racing. After spending time in San Diego doing rigging and sailing an International 14, he returned to school in Idaho and obtained a degree in recreation and outdoor education. He spent the next five summers teaching junior sailing in Montana while spending the winters in the Caribbean teaching ASA courses. Scott comes to SSC with over ten years of teaching experience in boats ranging from eight foot Optmists to one hundred foot schooners. He is a Coast Guard licensed captain and is certified through ASA and US Sailing.
