COVID-19 UPDATES & NEW PROTOCOLS

Captain Jeff Blythe

Being a rare native of Washington, Jeff has spent thousands of hours sailing around the Salish Sea and all parts of the world. His passion for sailing started when he was very young and has grown to become a lifelong endeavor involving cruising, racing, power boating and teaching.

Jeff has over 10,000 miles of offshore cruising miles ranging from crossing the Atlantic from the Azores Islands to Ireland, multiple charters in the Virgin Islands and Caribbean, sailing double handed from Seattle to Mexico, up and down the Baja California, and most recently transiting the Panama Canal enroute to Grand Cayman Island.

Although he enjoys cruising, sailboat racing has been a passion for many years and Jeff is very active in the Pacific Northwest racing circuit. On any given weekend, Jeff can be found on his Catalina 36 participating in numerous local races and always has his sights on doing well at both Swiftsure and Round the County.

His calm demeanor and accommodating teaching style allows him to share the love of the sea with students young and old, and nothing is more rewarding than seeing ear-to-ear grins after a good day of sailing.

Jeff holds a Master 100T captain license and teaches ASA 101, 103, 104, 118 & race coaching, as well as being an instructor for USCG Captain’s Licensees.
