Captain Phil Bylsma

I have been sailing since I was a teenager and continue to enjoy time on the water. I have a breadth and depth of sailing experience, both with monohulls and multihulls, having sailed in a variety of weather and sea-state conditions in the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea, North Atlantic and North Pacific oceans, Mediterranean Sea and throughout the Puget Sound region.  I hold a USCG 100 Ton license (offshore capable), multiple ASA instructor certifications and scuba diving certification (PADI).  I find sailing presents both beautiful and humbling realities, regardless of boat size.  I enjoy teaching and sharing my passion for sailing in both cruising and racing environments.
